CountingUp

“We make it easier to run businesses“ — Countingup is the award-winning business current account (e-money) built for sole traders and small limited companies. The unique two-in-one app simplifies bookkeeping and taxes, helping business people across the UK save time and money.

We worked with the Fintech app CountingUp to acquire users for its iOS app in United Kingdom. CountingUp app is a business current account (e-money) built for sole traders and small limited companies to simplify their bookkeeping and taxes.

Goals

The primary goal of the campaign was to acquire and target users with a genuine interest in subscribing to the app after they’ve opened their account.
In this case, achieving high conversion rates from free trial to paying customers was also a big factor determining the success of the campaign, as well as the quality of leads.

Tactics & Methods

Exploration

Unlike B to C fintech apps, CountingUp is a B to B app, focusing on the needs of small businesses within the UK. By using more granule targeting to identify key decision makers within the business, we were able achieve substantial results.

Optimization

Once the initial insights were generated, we were able to escalate our activities within key business centers in the UK. This, in turn, allowed us to reach more small to medium size business owners.

Scaling

Continuous scaling of the campaign focusing on users who not only opened an account, but continued to make transactions for CountingUp’s services.
