Airalo

No roaming fees – just easy, affordable, global connectivity.” Airalo is the world’s first eSIM store that solves the pain of high roaming bills by giving you access to eSIMs. Airalo’s mission is to provide global data connectivity for all travelers.

We partnered with Airalo, to promote their app, and drive new paying users. Airalo is a service app, providing eSIMs easily and smoothly for 200+ countries and regions around the world.

Goals

The primary goal of the campaign was to acquire and target new users, who would buy different eSIM packages, and keep using the app.

The key measure of our success in the campaign was repeated sales by the same user over a long period of time.

Tactics & Methods

Exploration

iOS Campaign, started with DE only – as a test country. In order to have a successful campaign, we identified users who are on the move, whether they’re going on holiday or traveling for business.

Optimization

Using multiple A/B tests in order to discover the best method to reach our target audience, we were able to segment them and focus on the higher potential users who were more likely to travel again. This ensured a good flow of new users who would in turn lead to repeated sales

Scaling

Once we had identified and optimized our targeting methods, we integrated and launched campaigns on multiple DSP’s to assist with volume. In addition to this, we launched the campaign in another 10 countries. Allowing us to grow globally across 4 continents.
